INSTRUMENTAL

PIANO


ACMA offers piano lessons for ages four and up.  Since the piano is the easiest instrument to visualize because of its layout, children at a very young age are able to grasp the concept of different keys, different sounds, whole tones and half tones, as well as reading and playing a song from sight. The piano lessons are one on one private instruction, where the child will receive individual attention and assistance in playing the piano. Weekly music theory, music history and orchestration lessons are included in the tuition at no extra cost in a classroom setting. 

STRINGS

ACMA offers string lessons in violin, viola, cello and bass for children at age 7 and up.  All string instrument lessons are one on one private instruction, where the child will receive individual attention and assistance in playing the instrument. Weekly music theory, music history and orchestration lessons are included in the tuition at no extra cost in a classroom setting. 

All Instrumental Lessons are one on one private instruction.
All instrumental Students receive free music history, music theory and orchestration lessons in a classroom setting.

CHOIR IS ALSO INCLUDED WITHOUT COST TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY.

WOODWINDS

ACMA offers woodwind lessons in flute, clarinet and saxophone from ages 7 and up.   All woodwind instrument lessons are one on one private instruction, where the child will receive individual attention and assistance in playing the instrument.  Weekly music theory, music history and orchestration lessons are included in the tuition at no extra cost in a classroom setting. 

GUITAR

ACMA offers guitar lessons from ages 7 and up.   All guitar lessons are also one on one private instruction, where the child will receive individual attention and assistance in playing the instrument. Weekly music theory, music history and orchestration lessons are included in the tuition at no extra cost in a classroom setting. 

ART LESSONS

The Academy also offers lessons in drawing, painting and sketching.  The students work with watercolor, acrylic, oil, as well as chalk, pastel, pencils and other medians.  The Art class also takes trips to the zoo, where the students enjoy the natural enviornment, as well as, draw and paint the animals, the birds, and the beautiful scenery at the zoo.
